TERUMASA HINO-ONE OF JAPAN'S FINEST MUSICIANS
INCREDIBLE STORY TO SAY THE LEAST!
While filming our flagship "Best of Everything" custom-made dollhouses outside our previous studio in Bonita Springs, Florida, world-renowned jazz trumpeter Terumasa Hino bicycled past. Captivated by the old-world artistry, he pulled into the driveway and played an impromptu musical tribute to the craftsmanship of our handcrafted dollhouses.
Shortly after this magical encounter, Hurricane Irma completely destroyed our Florida home and workshop. Refusing to let the craft of creating collector dollhouses die, we returned to our hometown of Rochester, New York. Today, operating out of a separate, state-of-the-art studio in Webster, master craftsman Rob Kircher brings that same resilient devotion to building luxury heirloom pieces for collectors nationwide.

I HAVE MANY INTERESTS.
I write psychological suspense novels. Kircher's writing is known for focusing on the inner workings and motivations of deeply flawed characters within a limited, intimate setting. He often explores themes of:
Confined settings: Stories are typically set in one location or one neighborhood, much like the meticulous design of collector dollhouses, to create a more intimate and intense atmosphere.
Vulnerable characters: He often writes about vulnerable characters, seeing them as "easy targets to prey upon".
Cinematic approach: His background as a screenwriter shapes his writing, with every scene intended to pulse with vivid detail and suspense, reminiscent of the artistry found in custom-made and handcrafted dollhouses.

I'm a consistently reviewed 5-Star psychological suspense thriller novelist. My writing style is claustrophobic, often focusing on stories set in one main location. This approach provides an unimpeded, raw vantage point that strips away extraneous storytelling trappings, leaving only the naked truth with nowhere for characters to hide.
Just as a collector values unique pieces like custom-made dollhouses, I’m driven by curiosity about what compels people to act in certain ways. I explore what motivates individuals to choose or develop behaviors for their internal satisfaction or fulfillment. My narratives dig deep, exposing the true, intricate workings of a character, just as one would appreciate the craftsmanship of handcrafted dollhouses.
